Earlobe and Belly Button Piercing Repair

Body piercing. For many years, body piercing has been a way to artistically and fashionably express ourselves.
Unfortunately, in some cases, what once was a small piercing has over time (or due to injury) caused the skin to tear or hole to elongate. In the case of ear-piercings, this may be due to wearing earrings that are too heavy or due to the pressure of their ear pressed against the telephone.

How is the piercing-repair performed?
Local anesthetic is injected with a very fine needle to numb the area being treated and prevent any discomfort. Then, the piercing tract is completely cut out. The incision is repaired by using fine stitching to close the new wound. Stitches are removed after one to two weeks.

The procedure is quick. It only takes about 30 minutes on average to repair a single piercing. No down-time required.
